Submit your proposal for the 2024 Celebration of Scholars by March 27

Carthage will hold the 14th annual Celebration of Scholars Friday, May 3 through Tuesday, May 7. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to participate in this celebration of student research, scholarship, and creativity.

Poster Exhibition

The poster exhibition is from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 4 in the TARC Field House.

Students are invited to present their senior theses, SURE projects, and exemplary scholarly and creative works completed in a course or through independent research with a faculty mentor. All faculty and staff are invited to share their own scholarly and creative works.

Those who would like to participate in the Celebration of Scholars poster exhibition must submit a proposal online by Wednesday, March 27.

Logo Competition

Design the next Celebration of Scholars logo and win a cash prize! All current students are invited to submit a logo that visually conveys the message of the Celebration of Scholars: Exposition of Student and Faculty Research, Scholarship, and Creativity. The designer of the winning logo will receive a cash prize of $250, and their design will be the logo for the 2025 Celebration of Scholars.

The deadline to submit to the logo contest is Friday, March 22.
